Back in the day when I drove a big-ass four-wheel drive, four-door, long bed pick-up truck full of kids and pulled a four horse trailer full of horses, I can't tell you how many times I nearly ran over some little car who pulled along side me - in my blind spot - and just stayed there. There are quite a few idjits that drive small vehicles too, but you are right, we are safer with the idjits driving smaller.
I just really wish they equipped SUV's with huge side mirrors and more blind spot visibility.
