Wish me luck

The parentals are coming over to the Gulf Coast to spend some time with their glorious son. I've concluded that the best thing I did in my youth was slack. Had I cared they'd have expectations of me. My silly sis cared so she took all the pressure off of her often drunk older bro (me). Poor girl went to Ivy League schools and will have as much debt as Chrysler when she completes her doctorate.

I can't take it or leave it each time.....

Mr. Wek,
Excuse me, it's Kath. I only know you from LT Nixon (who is a saint in disguise, but he'll never tell you).

Had to laugh over your parents coming to visit. Is that good or -- just shall we say less than good now? Do you get lectures on your wasted youth? Anyway, enjoy the company and -- well, have fun.

Hey Kath! The LT doesn't fool me. This world is full of bad people trying to make themselves appear good, but LT is a good guy that wants to show a bad boy side.

The parents coming is actually a good thing. Besides them having many boomer traits, they're pretty cool. After my dad and I have our inevitable shouting blowout the rest of the weekend will go fine. 2 type-A personalities under the same roof always gets a little crazy.

yeah, but you have a cool blog, which is like, way bigger, than going in debt. hahahahaha! Good luck with the fam tour.

Yeah, degrees are for kids. I'd never take down my Kathy Ireland posters to hang a diploma. Haha!
