It is not every 31-year-old who, in a first government job, finds himself dismantling General Motors and rewriting the rules of American capitalism.
But that, in short, is the job description for Brian Deese, a not-quite graduate of Yale Law School who had never set foot in an automotive assembly plant until he took on his nearly unseen role in remaking the American automotive industry.

Good luck with this one
At least the job didn't go to a boomer.

Yeah, you go, Obama Administration.
31 yrs. old, first gov. job, not even graduated -- and look what he's doing. Well, OMG and fer shure!!
I actually am not too upset about this. The last thing I want to see is a retread from the auto industry get the position.
I just think that someone who has an inkling of the vastness of the auto industry should be invovled. And I don't see that they are.
And, yes, I saw how cute (eye-roll here) it was that you said "retread".
I didn't even realize I used "retread" until I was just about to hit the 'publish' button. I was gonna change it, but decided to leave it as corny joke.
