Michael Jackson - RIP
Very hard to imagine modern Pop and Hip Hop without his enormous presence. My favorite song remains Beat It (completely based on Eddie Van Halen laying down the guitar solo).
have to agree with kath. not the same. wake up generation x. the clock is ticking on how much time you've been given to make a difference, huh? farrah and michael - two baby boomers i could stand. mj - honorary xer.
The thing about deaths is it forces you to reminisce and you eventually lead yourself through the years to where you are now and how long its actually taken to get here.

First Farrah this morning and then Michael -- our world is not the same anymore, boys and girls.
This is all so sad.

Definitely an awesome entertainer in every sense of the word. It's sad that his personal life was such a mess.
No doubt, Nix. He left a huge impression on our culture, and particularly those of our age bracket.
