Phew! I got off cheap.

How do today's students afford drugs and alcohol?
Average tuition at four-year public colleges rose 6.5 percent, or $429, to $7,020 this fall, according to the College Board's annual "Trends in College Pricing" report, released Tuesday. At private colleges, the average list price for a year of coursework rose 4.4 percent to $26,273.

Nothing makes you feel old like looking at the price of college now.

Not sure how anybody affords to go -- yeah, yeah, scholarships. They don't pay for everything!

If you're a middle class kid or below with average intelligence you really have to think going Mil or Peace Corp/Teach for America as options. Without something helping pay tuition you can be in debt until you turn 40.
