Never met him. Never spoke to him. I just happened to become a fan because of his calling out of babyboomers within this Daily Kos diary.

So you want us to feel sorry for you because you've lived most of your life in spiritual and moral bankruptcy miserable in your dysfunctional and
unloving marriage while you raised kids as chattel? You want us to feel sorry for you because you spent most of your time working long hours or going from one artificial "social function" to another without ever having the gift or joy of truly loving and understanding your own children. You want us to feel sorry for you because you are foolish enough to believe that acting like Leona Helmsley or Donald Trump somehow makes you happy when the vast majority of us recognize how miserable an existence that truly is regardless of how much money is in the bank.

So we have this generational clash of values which are being reflected in voting patterns and the new and emerging demographics. These younger generations are planning to vote and vote in heavy numbers which means that the Baby Boomers will lose all their power and influence. It is this dynamic that is playing out but if history repeats itself, the Baby Boomers will manage to F--k this up too and continue to be the Worst Generation even as they collect the Social Security and Medicare checks that the Great Generation before them established.

Dave From Queens raised hell with anyone that he disagreed with and this included Sean Hannity and Daily Kos front pagers. He eventually was booted from DK and started his own blog with the subtitle "Hated by Right Wing Kooks, Hated By Daily Kos Kooks, Liked By Most Everyone Else".

Dave's funeral took place today.
