Mah state in photos

This dude has some sweet pics of Florida, complete with gators, mangroves, The Everglades and even the rarely seen American Crocodile (page 7).

Trivia: Florida is the only place in teh world that has both crocs and gators living in zah wild.

Have only seen othem in real life one time. We were in a park in S.C. and they had all these signs about walking and being careful.

And as we were driving out, we saw them laying on the banks of the waterway. Very, very scary to actually see. They weren't great big, but I don't care, that was enough for me. Yeah, I took pictures -- from the car.

Kath- did you see them at Huntington Beach by chance (about 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach)? I remember seeing some there.

Jen- no lie. There is a difference. Crocs are bigger and have a more narrow nose than a gator. Plus gators like to snack on Sooners and I'm not sure what crocs prefer. Heehee.
