Davey and Goliath seemed marketed very sneakily. They used to put it on after the cartoons ended and kids would say "we'll this show sucks but it's better than watching the soaps".

That does look familiar.
Always thought those Christmas shows where they use those -- whatever they're called, puppets or figures or whatever -- that is just so fascinating. I think that's way cool to be able to do that.
Ohhhh you'd have loved this show then. Lots of Chrismas-ey lessons for any season.
I used to turn Davey and Goliath as fast as I could! Anything was better than this, and how could Goliath moralize while sounding completely stoned???
